Episode 10 – Whitegeist

Which way to the beaches of Maine?
Well… you can head east as far as Bath and then… let me think.

Or you could hop a Greyhound and go down the interstate ’til you come to…nah, wait a minute.

Then there’s that Hodgman fella’s book that ain’t bad at all, but it’s…

You could listen to this here podcast about that Hodgman fella’s book…

Season’s Readings!

Our family here at Bookclub Studios would like to wish you and yours a most joyous of holidays. However, we also find it imperative to remind you that we are currently at WAR, and those that choose to say “Merry Christmas” will surely be the first against the wall when this is all said and done.

That being said, Elijah has written and recorded a beautiful, emotionally-charged piece of consumerist propaganda for your enjoyment. Enjoy, and make sure to tune in December 29th for the clubbing of Vacationland: True Stories from Painful Beaches by John Hodgman.

Episode 8 – Roasted Lamb

Pita bread? Check. Tomato and onion? You better believe it. And you know we got some of that yogurty goodness that is tzatziki. And to finish off the perfect gyro, Elijah brought us Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ’s Childhood Pal. He hoisted it up for the Bookclub to rotate it and roast it evenly from all sides. So come on down and get yourself a slice off this cone-shaped hunk of podcast.
